Improving Education & Training

We recognize the necessity of creating a strong curriculum aligned with global market demands, supported by accessible SSW programs through regional training centers, and promoting internationally recognized certifications to enhance the competitiveness of SSWs.

Administrative Simplification

The administrative process needs to be smooth and cohesive. It’s crucial to have one-stop integrated services that streamline document processing and, accelerate administrative procedures, and minimize bureaucratic hurdles for migrant workers.

Expanding Access to Information & Networks

Digital portals need to be created to offer comprehensive information, establish professional networks for SSW, and enhance collaborations with international companies to streamline information flow and recruitment processes.

Strengthening Labor Diplomacy

We are eager to support the government in expanding bilateral cooperation with destination countries to safeguard migrant workers’ rights, increase job opportunities, and enhance the global perception of Indonesian migrant workers.

Building a Global Workforce: Strategic Expansion of Indonesia’s Overseas Worker Industry to Support National Economic Goals

The Indonesian Business Council (IBC) is calling for proposals for a study titled “Building a Global Workforce: Strategic Expansion of Indonesia’s Overseas Worker Industry to Support National Economic Goals.” The primary purpose of this study is to develop a comprehensive and actionable strategy for Indonesia’s overseas worker industry. The strategy will be encapsulated in a detailed white paper by the IBC, which will serve as a foundational document guiding the nation’s efforts to leverage its human capital, boost remittance inflows, and contribute to Indonesia’s 8% GDP growth target, all while avoiding the pitfalls of a post-demographic bonus disaster.

Interested firms are required to complete the study in 2 (two) months since the signing date of the contract (est. Week 2 of September, 2024). Interested firms are asked to structure the study timeline that includes:

  • Key milestones and deadlines.
  • Duration for each phase of the project.
